Anthony Anene has a BA in Philosophy from University of Nigeria Nsukka, Master of Arts (MA) in philosophy from University of Ibadan, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and was called to the Bar in 2000. He is a fellow of the defense college (FDC).
Barrister Anthony Anene is a retired Comptroller of Immigration Service (CIS) who served as the head of Immigration at the Nigeria High Commission, in Kingston, Jamaica from 2017 to 2021. Presently, he is a Principal counsel at Mike Ozekhome's Chambers.
